SC.GMIS exists for one reason... to provide our members with first-rate Information Technology training, collaboration and sharing experiences that are not available anywhere else... and all of our workshops are free-of-charge to our members!

Although the above sets us apart, we are also different in that we offer full membership to any municipal, county or state government agency within South Carolina! This includes school districts, police departments, commissions, authorities and any other government run entity within our state.

Our annual membership fees ranges from $75 to $400, and it includes membership into GMIS International as well. Membership fees are based on the annual IT budget for your agency. There is no other place where you can pay so little and get at least three full day workshops for FREE – and your entire staff is invited to attend! It's simple...

SC.GMIS also depends on vendor support to ensure that we can continue to deliver our excellent programs. Our vendor-partners are different than many in that vendors are truly considered to be partners. They attend our workshops (also at no cost) and are encouraged to network with our members. However, there is no selling or marketing of products or services at any of our events that they are attending. We do allow one sponsor per workshop, and up to eight for our Leadership Summit, where the sponsor is permitted to talk about their products or services.

It is a formula that appears to be working, as our vendor-partners have continued to renew their relationship with us year after year. As one vendor-partner told us...
