The South Carolina Chapter of Government Management Information Sciences offers
three workshops during the course of each year. The workshops, which are free to SC.GMIS members, are full of great presentations from our members as well as industry experts.

All SC.GMIS workshops are held at the Saluda Shoals River Center,
located at 5605 Bush River Rd. in Columbia, S.C.  

No SC.GMIS presentation is allowed to include "selling" of any kind – our presentations, panel discussions and classes are all designed to deliver education and training to our members without the hype.

All three workshops are heavily attended, in fact all three sold out in 2008 and 2009 with the Project Management Workshop setting a new attendance record (122).

And yes! PMPs can earn PDUs (www.pmi.org) for our Project Management workshop in addition to most of the topics for the Software Developers and Networking & Telecom workshops. Between these three workshops, you could earn 15 to 20 PDUs per year...
