The South Carolina Chapter of Government Management Information Sciences offers
a number of high-quality events, training sessions and networking opportunities
throughout the year. We hope to see you at one of the following:

Our three day Leadership Summit is where CIOs, IT Directors, IT Managers and IT Supervisors from county, municipal and state agencies meet to learn, network, collaborate and share ideas. Our summit is held in the spring of each year. Visit the SC.GMIS Annual Leadership Summit Web Page for more information on our flagship event.

SC.GMIS also offers its members three free workshops each year!
Each workshop is full of great presentations from our members as well as industry experts. No SC.GMIS presentation is allowed to include "selling" of any kind – our presentations, panel discussions and classes are all designed to deliver education and training to our members without the hype.
Our three workshops include:
SC.GMIS Software Developers Workshop
(generally held in January each year)
SC.GMIS Project Management Workshop
(generally held in July each year)
SC.GMIS Networking & Telecom Workshop
(generally held in October each year)
For more information on our workshops,
please see the SC.GMIS Workshops Web Page.
But the value does not end there!

SC.GMIS also offers up to three additional Project Management training opportunities through its Special Interest Group (SIG), the S.C. Organization for Project Excellence (SCOPE). These meetings are four to five hours in length, include lunch, and like the workshops, are free to members of SC.GMIS!
If you are a Project Management Professional, you can earn dozens of PDUs each year by attending all project management educational offerings!
And, for free if you are a SC.GMIS member!
Watch our Web site for upcoming SCOPE meetings.
